I have and use a G 37, and I am very pleased with the "balance". Some folks have made negative remarks about the wider, heavier slide on the G37. I wonder how much they have used the G 37, because I find that the small extra weight up front, contributes to shooter getting back on target quicker. I find that the G37 is one of the most controlable large caliber handguns around. After all, quick, accurate follow-up shot counts ! I suspect that some of the negative comments are from folks that may have handled a G37 at the display counter, but haven't used one a great deal at the range. :) :Your comments please.

Where it sucks is carrying it around all day. That thing is a brick!
I agree: an excellent range gun, but it could go on a 8 oz diet.

I'm used to the weight. It never really bothered me, maybe because it's my first carry weapon. It is a very comfortable gun to me. I can send 'em down range pretty quick and stay accurate. I think that you're right, most people talkin' smack about the G37 haven't spent any quality time with one.

I can see that point. Still, its lighter than my 8 round stainless 1911.
Maybe the G38 will come through in the weight department.
