Hawken Woodsman .50 caliber percussion rifle with 1/60" twist made by Traditions.
I use .490 patched ball over 80gr of Goex ffg. The patch material is pillowticking and I use CVA's Slick Lube for grease.
I am getting 3" groups at 100yds. I am pretty sure that I can tighten up those groups if I get some better sights put on it.
Here is one of mine........

58 cal Big Boar Pretty sure T/C stopped making those. Excellent muzzleloader for those of us who hunt from tree stands. I always wanted one of those. You are a lucky man !!;c
I'll try to get a pic, I dont have one at the moment but I have a CVA Sharpshooter .50 cal.
What kind of percussion caps and balls do you guys use/recomend? I haven't shot mine in about 4 or 5 years and I'm lookin to get some time in with it soon.

Here is mine. Traditions Timber Ridge .54 cal. Tasco Pronghorn 3-9x40. I forget the bi-pod brand but it is a Harris knockoff.
I shoot 295gr, Powerbelts and 100 grains of Pyrodex powder not the pellets.

Oldest gun in the family. My family has had this .45 cal. muzzle loader since before the War of aggression.
