Hello all!
My issue revolves around a USB harddrive thatwas formatted for use with a Linsys (bad, bad co.) USB network storage link (NSLU2). Once you attach the NLSU2 to a network and send commands to it, it will format the attached USB drive. After this, it can no longer be seen by Windows (as a drive). From what I have read on the web, its some sort of Linux formatting. Linksys has been no help whatsoever (try talking to a woman in India about technical issues) so I have sworn their products off for good.
So now I've got a new Iomega 250 gb drive thats no use on Windows.
Does anybody know of a way to reformat this drive without opening the case and formatting it in a laptop? Windows only sees it as a USB device but not a formattable drive.
BTW, the NSLU2 is a peice of crap, I should know I have two that no longer hold settings.
