It was warm. There were mosquitos biting me. My flashlight went out at 5:05 a.m., and I had to put my new TreeLounger stand together totally in the dark. Man that thing has a lot of screws.
But about 11:45 a.m., 6 deer come down canyon draw that I was overlooking, and one big 'un rode home in the back of my pickup.
There may have been more deer that came by earlier, but I sort of fell asleep in that TreeLounger. That is the first stand that I feel totally safe falling asleep in. You absolutely cannot fall out.
I'll be back at it this weekend....can't wait.
I sleep like a baby in the woods. Nothing but drool on my vest...
