The Rockster that I just got is a great bike for me. I like the look, I like the handling, I like the oomph, I even like the strangely numb ABS. But it is kinda high for me. Even with the low seat, I am still sitting on the ball of my feet.

Is there an aftermarket suspension outfit that deals especially with Beemers? I am hoping to find maybe a lowered rear suspension spring with about 2 inches drop as ideal, or any drop at all would be welcomed.

I tried to do a web search but not too successful in finding anything. Lots of crotch rocket accessories though.

Ask these guys, there was a thread running on lowering when I found it.

Thanks a lot, quinch. It looks like I'll have to have a chat with Works suspension people.

A cheaper alternative might be a pair of those shoes we wore back in the 70's... ;P ;)

These help a bit. But not enough.

Works Performance shocks, get the 1" lower version and you should be flat footing it at stops.

I already talked to the Works guys. In a few weeks when I'm not too busy, I'll buy the getup and have the dudes at Irv Seaver BMW install them for me.
