I'm looking for opinions (good, bad, or indifferent) and boservations on the Sig P245 for CCW from folks who have one of these. I'm thinking of picking one up.

Thanks.

It's all good with my P245 with the Ilaflon finish. No holster wear with the Alessi CQC-S holster, easier to carry than the P220, no significant loss (IMHO) of firepower vs. the P220, nice handling (better to me than the P220), amazing accuracy/reliability. Mine has Big Dot sights and they are great, too. I have large hands but not fat hands and the grip fits just fine.

My Glock 30 gets little carry because of the P245.

Go for it if it fits you.

The P245 is a great gun, but I prefer the G30 due to the extra capacity. Its hard to beat the G30 as a 45 for CCW.

I love Sigs but the 245 is about he most ungainly small gun i've ever held, ergonomically. It's a Sig so i'm sure you don't have anything to worry about function wise, but definitely put one in your hands before you buy, in case you haven't.

I like mine. Functions as flawless as my 220's The 8 round 220 mags interchange in case you were not aware. I wish it was smaller at times but such is life.

I've had one for about 5 yrs or so, and love it. I've never had a problem carrying it, but at times I prefer my G27 due to the smaller size.
