View Full Version : Camo shotgun
We do some camo work on guns, and anything else for that matter. A guy I work with wanted me to camo his shotgun for him. I just started, so it's a work in progress. My coworker is about 6'6" 280lbs burly sort of "biker" guy. What do you think of the color scheme I decided to go with for him?
Please be honest, I can stand my feelings being hurt.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v218/Graceguns/CallahansGun.jpg

I think you better give it back to him in a sealed box, then run like hell.

That's hard core! It looks like one of the BGs in a Batman movie should be packing it. You know, like one of the Joker's goons or something ;e
this is a joke right?
We can only hope!
I feel sorry for that browning Auto-5.;g
It's not purple, photoshop. The Browning is not all original either. The barrel was replaced. the blueing was almost all gone and the furniture was in rough shape. The guy who owns it was thinking about having it reblued but decided to go camo. We cleaned up the stock and based the whole thing in OD green, patterns will be added in layers. i'll post the result.
When my co-worker saw the photo he laughed for 10 minutes and said we had to change the colors because he didn't have an outfit to go with purple and green. He was impressed because the purple did matches his bike.

Gosh, you'd think he could do that kind of work to his own gun instead of farming out the job to a "professional". ;Q Are you charging him for your work?
bigtinva
Who are you calling a "professional"? What did I ever do to you? I am no "professional" and I resent you insinuating that I am! And the farm comment, what's wrong with living on a farm?
He did provide the paint, said he was affraid of what would look like if he didn't.
Here's a pic of our best work to date. Envy of the neighborhod!

Sorry that I wounded your inner child. You asked what others thought about that gun. I am insensitive for not realizing that you took your camo jobs so serious. And good work on that trash can. ;Q
