Seriously, Sue!! If you have little bitty girly hands, large handguns won't fit. Same for folks like me and small-frame S&W .38's--feels like I'm holding a damn golf club...
I'll bet you don't use 50# weights for bicep curls when you go to the gym, either.;Q
One Size Does NOT Fit All.
BTW, the G30 has better ergos for me than either the G36 or the G21 do.
So there. Nyah.;f ;a ;f

Comparing the two side by side is the issue. Concealing a brick is not as easy.
My hands are plenty big (Sue is a verb not my name)

I have small hands for a guy, the 30 fits perfectly, the 36 feels "odd".
The 1911 of course, feels perfect. :)

I have medium hands and have no problems with the G30. I also have no problems concealing it.

Ditto here...I am 5'9" and 130 lbs soaking wet and I have no problems concealing my 30. Find yourself a good holster, I carry a Fist #9.
I guess with my big hands I kind of like the G30, especially with the Scherr pinkie extension. Of course I also like my G26 quite a bit too. I find the G30 easier to carry IWB than my SIG P229/.357 but maybe not as easy to carry as the G26. But it's really almost identical to the G26 when I compare it to other carry guns. I just can't pocket carry the G30 like I can the G26.
Sue, I think the point is: a carry gun is a very personal thing. Everybody is different. This is a realm where generalizing just won't do.
Cheers.
I used to have a post called "Trigger Guard Ergonomics" I wrote about a year ago. Looks like it has gone away. I will look up a hard copy and repost in a week or so.
I agree that Glock grips are clumsy and could/should have been better thought out and implemented. You can make some alterations to improve the grip in accord with your hand size.

As stated in a previous post, the G30 fits my hand very very well. The G21 was too big and I don't have ity bitty hands. I wear L- XL gloves and the G30 just fits well. As for as concealing, I throw it in a HBE leatherworks holster (thanks DOMZILLA9), and it hides away perfectly. Just as easy as my G23 or G27 to conceal (on the hip, and on the belt). Obviously it is bulkier than either the G23 or 27 but it doesn't seem to be a problem to conceal it.

I'd suggest you not buy a G30!

My G30/G29 grip feels the best of all my Glocks...
Solid, manly, and powerful... not a brick...

If you don't like it, don't carry it. This is the second thread tonight started by you that I have had complaints about. Both threads mock .45acp Glocks. Kindly stop trolling these forums.
