I have three guns on my wish list; all of them .40 S&W: S&W 4053 DAO, CZ-40 and EAA Witness.
Which of any of them lend themselves to conversion to .357 Sig.....if any of them?
I would imagine the 4053 (or any Third Gen S&W) would be ok since those Third Gen guns are pretty sturdy guns. I am wrong in that opinion?
What about the other two guns?
My plan would be to get the barrels reamed out, if I'm unable to get an aftermarket .357 Sig barrel, and to get stronger recoil springs. I may put a recoil buffer in the guns too.
What do ya'll think?
I'd love to convert a Beretta 96 but as others have said in other threads here and on other sites....that may not be a good thing to do.
Thanks in advance.
