View Full Version : I just bought a geetar!
Not a great one, I know, but I have absoulty no clue how to play, so this is going to be my first step to becoming a grunge freak! (Yes, I know, 10 years too late). I bought it on recommendations I read from various spots on the web.
I picked up a Squier Stratocaster with a Squier SP-10 amplifier. Got them both for $199/shipped. Pretty good deal, I think.
So, learn me. ;f

That's a pretty decent starter setup. Hell, I could've used my first guitar to go bow hunting.
Congrats!

Doug Marks' Metal Method dvd's are pretty good for helping teach yourself (if you're not going to spring for personal lessons).
