firefox gurus...help needed

I am using Firefox and everytime I open the window I use the increase font button under the view tab. Is there a way to save this setting under "about:config"? Thanks

Tools>Options>General>Fonts & Colors>>check Always use my Fonts.

The problem is when I open a new window and it defaults to its original, small size.

Are you using the latest version of Firefox? It's Firefox 1.0.

I got it. It just took some tweaking in the fonts and colors. Thanks. I need to adjust my x-server for optimal screen res too. Thanks
