I spoke to Stefan at Kahr Arms today and the company is going to send me a new gun. They were appologetic that it fell through the cracks but the replacement process is on it's way.
It appears that I owe a debt of gratitude to our own Compman. I do not know the man but the Kahr folks do and they think he is a respectable individual. It appears that he took on my cause with Kahr and persuaded them to find out why my gun was sitting in Limbo.
He pointed out my old thread to those folks and got them to get it in gear. For that Compman, I am extremely gratefull.
Additionally, in the past it appears that compman was trying to communicate with me via email. Unfortunately, my firewalls must have blocked his messages because I never saw them and was confused by what he said in his threads. I guess he assumed I was just interested in bad mouthing Kahr and not in talking to him about how to get it fixed. I appologize for the communications snafu or if I thought you were kinda nuts.
BTW, there are folks at Kahr who read our threads but they don't have enough time to get actively involved in the day to day threads. Dottie is the Customer Service Manager and will answer emails and communicate with other folks for you.
I also took the time to ask about the T45. It is real and will debut at the shot show. I don't know about you guys, but I am looking to see what I can sell to get the bucks to buy one. I have shot the T9 and liked it but I am still a .45 kinda guy and will have one some day.
Thanks for all the helpfull support and suggestions I received during the time my pistol has been out of action. Lemon's happen from time to time with all machinery. I expect my new PM9 will work as designed when I get it.
Regards,
