I want to find the best holster possible for my Kimber ultra cdp II. I am looking for something a little more exotic (skin wise) and the best quality possible. Can some of you experts point me in the right direction. (It's main use will be concealed carry). Thanks
Milt Sparks, Mitch Rosen, Kramer, & Delfatti all make great rigs with different otions of leather. they are expensive but you get what you pay for. i carry a Sparks VMII about everyday and i love it. i also recomend getting a belt made my them. good luck.

Once I tried a Milt Sparks Versa Max 2 holster I stopped filling my holster drawer. It's a terrific concealed carry holster. The belt loops placed fore and aft spread the load over a wider part of your belt, keep the guns angle solidly in one place and conforms to the shape of your body. I don't know if I'd call it exotic, but I like the looks of the horsehide with sharkskin trim.

Same here, Milt Sparks VM-2 is the way to go. Best holster I own.

I have a PCH being made for me by Alessi as we speak. Should be ready really soon. My 1911 is still "under construction", but when it's ready I'm going to have beautiful leather ready for it.
I've read awesome things about the PCH being made by Alessi. I guess it's going to give the VM-2 a run for its money. Even though they are different designs, the PCH has a very interesting and unique design and it's supposed to be thin, stable, and mighty comfortable.
Short Cut, I really do despise you! Such beautiful holsters. As soon as I can save some money I'm going to buy a VM-2. You've inspired me with your pictures to opt for the sharkskin trim.

Above is a link to some gorgeous pictures of the PCH I was speaking of...

I bought a Brommeland holster, I believe its called a "Max con V." It has been great for my Ultra Carry. I have carried almost everyday with this combination and highly recommend the holster.
My 2 cents,

Thanks for the help, I'm looking into the Alessi pch. It has all the features I want and looks great.

I've got a couple.
They make a 1911 or G35 feel like they aren't there (or at least as comfortable as a much smaller firearm).

Well, I should have mine any day now, and when I get it I'll post a review with pictures.
