I live in a small apt. so any outdoor antenna's are out of the question. What I've been using is a twin lead j-pole hanging in my front window. Does anyone know what output power I can safely (without cooking my radio) use with this antenna?

Thanks,
Steve

I've run 50 watts into mine with no ill effect. If you put it together right and it's properly matched, you should be able to do the same.

I mainly use it with a 5 watt HT for APRS. The reason I asked about max power out was because I'd like to bring the j-pole camping and use it wish a yaesu mobile (50 watt).
