They look great in the 2005 annual.
Can't wait to see them on the shelves.
anxious to get the G38....
May even trade in the G37 on one, I don't carry it alot because it's full size.....
I wouldn't mind getting a G39, but the capacity is so low. My G33 makes more sense. Stronger round and holds 3 more.
However, I always like to try something new. I have never shot a 45 GAP. The concept seems cool.;f
glock doesnt have the most updated webpage but will the g38 have a 10round magazine? I was almost about to get the glock30. But would really like to get my hands on a g38 if its going to be a compact model. then I dont have to buy two kinds of 45. ammo

No, the G38 will have an 8 round magazine. However, just like Glocks in every other caliber (with the G36 being the glaring exception) you should be able to use full-size (G37) mags in the compact G38 and subcompact G39, and you should be able to use the G38 mags in the G39. Sooooo... you should be able to carry the 39 with a 6+1 capacity for easy concealment, and carry one or two G37 or G38 mags as backup.

Just got my 2005 Glock buyers guide and in the back with the 38 the 39's spec sheet says that It has mag.capacity of 8 rnds??? I thought this was 6 I guess just a type error..

Hopefully, you're right. If so, I'm sold on the G39, but I really think it only holds 6+1.

No, it' a typo. The 39 only holds 6+1. It would be physically impossible, given the 39's grip dimensions (height and width) to fit 8 rounds. The grip width on the 38 and 39 is 1.18", and the 38 is 8+1. The 39 has an even shorter grip, which clearly reduces capacity. Sorry!

I am this close to ordering a G39 but I have one question. I have a G27 with various +1 extensions and I like the feel and the extra capacity. Is there any reason unique to the operation and function of the subcompact 45GAP - that these +1 extensions will not be available and reliable on that platform? I would like the G39 much better with the added pinky grip and 7+1 rounds. That would make it equal in capacity to the standard 1911. Nice.
The Scherer, Pearce and factory extended bases should work.
Is the Glock 2005 annual on newstands or what? I would like to pick one up.
