that seems a bit high.
this is the HE finish, not a stainless steel slide, right? NIB, two 8rd mags? Is it a AE date code?
I think the MSRP on the USPc 45 is something like $875 so your dealer's price seems kinda high.
Here in NJ, a local dealer is selling the same gun for $750 (minus $20 on sale) for the same weapon. I was quoted $790 by an on-line dealer for the USPc 45 and $750 for a USP full size. Cal's Sporting Armory has $755 but none in stock. Cal's (http://www.calssportingarmory.com/mainframe.htm)
Impact Guns (http://www.impactguns.com/store/hk_usp_compact.html) has them for $775.
check your local dealer's prices on other caliber USPc. My local guy has the 9mm and 40S&W USPc for $50 cheaper. The MSRP on the 45's is definitely higher than these other calibers.
Even after shipping, FFL transfer fees, etc, you'll do better going through an online place, assuming your local dealer's FFL transfer fee is close to the $25 national average. You will avoid sales tax (hopefully) that will be offset by the shipping and the FFL fee, so at the end of the day the actual price difference should be yours to pocket.
this assumes that you're not LEO and you don't qualify for LEO pricing...
also, you might want to consider supporting your local gun shop, but not if they are ripping you off.
good luck! post pics when you buy it!

FWIW, about a year and a half ago I payed $820 after tax for mine from a Galyan's here in St. Louis.
I just passed on one that was NIB, came with 3 mags and meprolight's on it for $699. I opted for the USPc .40 instead for $649. The .40 was the same LE overrun deal coming with 3 full cap mags and mepro's.

damn! They obviously wanted to rip me a new one. I really hate that place. The only good thing about them is that they have CCW twice a month and an indoor range, and a bunch of guns. I talked to a guy that owns a gunsmith shop that was super nice. We talked for a good 30 minutes and he told me he doesn't have to make that much off the sale of guns cause he makes his living doing custom work. I'll find out Monday what he will price me. I told him I might pick up a 1911 to check out some of his custom work and gave him a budget to work with. Super nice guy. Place is called Gunhill Gunsmithing and the guy's name is Jene Hill. I keep naming these places to see if anybody from Arkansas could give me some info LOL. I think I'm one of two on this board LOL.
