Ok, I admit I have a Sterling 302 .22 long. It is the first gun I ever bought and did not know any better. The Sterling is all steel and heavier than what it looks from the dimesnions. It reminds me of a squirt gun I had as a kid. I guess that is why I bought it. I used with stingers. The one I have works...some don't. This is not a gun you want to carry with a round in the chamber. It is striker fired and the safety only blocks the trigger.
I refer this as a tackle box gun now. I would never consider a primary or secondary weapon. It is one things you just have.

Confession is good for the soul.
I think it's .22 long rifle, not .22 long, which is a fairly rare caliber at least in semi-autos. Except for collectors items, I think the rest of your above description applies to nearly every gun discussed in this forum!
Is this it?

Mine is blue with the .22 long rifle config. It works, this is the gun I rarely show anybody, because I am so ashamed....lol!
