Kewl!

Long ago an idiot friend of mine had one of those. I fired it with .45 Colt loads, didn't care for the recoil.

Once he left it on his coffee table, loaded with .410 birdshot.
His idiot drunk roommate came home later, messed with it, and oops it went BANG in the middle of the night. It was pointed towards a patio door, the glass wasn't damaged, but there were lots of little pinhole size holes and dents in the closed vertical blind. Range was about eight feet. The police arrived to investigate (apartment complex) and they were surprisingly polite and understanding. No charges.

Idiots, guns & alcohol don't mix.

I'm looking for one of those in double barrel, they used to sell for about $75 NIB when the single barrel versions were $49 NIB. Suddenly rare. They also make a 12 gauge which only takes small, flare size cartridges, but now Aguila makes some interesting loads in that size.
I might not care for that recoil either!

How could you shoot a 12ga sns pistol? Man, the single shot regular shotguns in 12 ga are punishing enough!

agreed .410 would be my limit as well in something that small, but recoil with these(.410) are down right mild :-)

never fired a .44 special but i know that that .44 mag was about the farthest thing u could get away from pleasurable, its certianly a conversation peace. I don't think he has it anymore i think he sold it shortly after that.

and whoa that 12 Ga is sweet, how big is that thing?

I seem to recall one of the Derringer companies making a 3" .45-70, load it up with some Garret or Buffalo bore and it should get a littler farther from pleasurable.

well my buddy had some garret 310 grain hammerheads that he uses to hunt with but we didnt know how old this thing was so we didn't want it blowing up on us so we just used Hornady 300 grain hollow points. which hind sight being 20-20 probably wasnt any better but, like i said it wasn't fun, but hey I'm up for trying out any weapon once. I guess you could call me a glutten for punishment.
