The 25s, The 9mms, the 22s... anyone...anyone
I had the 25 several years ago. It prefered Winchester Super X with the little bb in the nose of the hollowpoint. It also worked flawlessly with the S&B fmj,and Federal Classic? fmj.

Now that aftermarket hi-caps are again available for the Ruger 10/22, I'm getting tempted by the Tec-22. But I never fired one.
I've fired a couple of Tec-9's; they both jammed.:(

Had a Tec-22 Scorpion (?spell/model) and Tec-9. The 9mm worked with ball ammo, but I had to tweak one of the mags to get good reliability. The 9mm would NOT function with any HP load I tried. The Tec-22 worked perfectly with the original mag, but none of my large quantity of 10/22 mags would work in it. Factory 10/22 10-shot mags, Butler Creek 25-shot 10/22 mags, and RamLine 30- and 50-shot mags would not get through a mag-load of ammo; some wouldn't shoot two shots in a row. Tried with several different types of ammo; all ammo types worked with the factory mag, none worked with the other mags. I reached the conclusion that the mags were somehow "special" or different from the very similar 10/22 mags; as this was the primary reason I bought it (to use with my 10/22 mags), I got rid of it shortly after that. Sold it to a friend who was aware of the mag limitations. He was using it and bumped the front sight against something, and it fell off (it's lightly riveted in place from the bottom).
Not recommended.
My old room mate had a tec22 believe it or not we actually got a whole 50rd 10/22 mag through without it jamming.
p.s I'm not kidding. one time only, tec22 = frustration
I got a Tec-DC9M, the shorter-barelled version. It don't shoot for crap, even with heavy bullets. I'd try some sub-machine gun rounds in it, but can't find them anywhere. Stove pipes literally about every third round.
