Yes, in Texas there is an instant background check via phone. It takes about 2 to 5 minutes. Or, like me, if you have a CHL there is no additional check, just show the license and plop down the money. The libs hate it.

I put 100 flawless rounds of UMC through it last night. I waited until dusk so I could play with the Mepro night sights. Love them. I will now start looking for a good carry round.
