Suggest a sighting system for me.

I have a G17, 3rd gen for a range toy ONLY.

I would like a scope / red dot system but I know NOTHING about them.

What are the different types and advantages of them?

I will be shooting 25yds at black targets only.

I have tight budget.

Any help / links appreciated.
