Sale on Bersa with bling!

Gander Mountain is selling the Bersa "Thunder" pistol in .380 for $239.99 with, get this, gold accents on the blued gun.

Of course, they're selling the major name SNS, the S&W Sigma, for $299.99. Awful pricey for a SNS, but for junk collectors it's a good buy just for the novelty of it. Prior to the Sigma ,I don't think S&W had made a true "junk gun" since the 1800s.

I paid 180 out the door for my wife's Bersa. They are not, by any stretch, Saturday Night Special's.

The Sigma does not fall in this category, either. While I dont really like them, they are good guns. The forst ones had teething issues, but the newest guns seem to be 100% reliable. The Sigmas also have some of the best ergonomics everto be molded in polymer.

BTW, the Makarov is more of a SNS than the Bersa...and it isn't one either.

Local hardware store has Bersa Thunder .380's...sans bling...for $219.95

I am tempted to see what the fuss is about. :)
