I was thinking about it. From the back of the mag well to over the hole in the back (eliminate the hole). I find the hardest part to conceal on my 17 is that 1/2" or so on the bottom of the backstrap. I already cut a 17 I have to a 19L but I'm thinking of doing just the back for this one. I want to use my 17rd. mag's I have.

How are you packing your G17 ?

I pack mine IWB with a forward cant and have no issues concealing it.
