Inaabuso daw. Well, pwede ko ring i drive ang kotse ko sa isang crowd. Ipagbawal na rin natin ang mga kotse.

Again, the mentality that they can regulate everything.

Ganda pala ng airsoft, yung m4 kala ko totoo talga
Probably they will have to register it parang airgun

anyone here shoots air soft?
Tried it, pero I'm the first to get killed
Nahihiya ako magtago, I'm too old magbarilbarilan :)( no offense sa AS gamers )
They call firearms "real steel", and that they are better kasi totoong tao ang binabaril nila
Hmmm...
Airsoft VS Practicasl Shooters :)

yup, that is the AS people's argument vs. real shooters. i don't care, magastos din ang hobby nila, gagastos na din e, why not splurge on the real thing.

as for airsoft regulation, matagal nang batas yan, di lang ineemplement. as usual money talks bs walks.;z

after all, our country is not no.2 in corruption (east asia) for nothing. some pundits are saying we were cheated by indonesia in getting the top plum;f

That's why I sold my M4 RIS for 15T last year. Mahirap ding dalhin to the airsoft venue dahil baka kunin lang ng parak. ;Q

50K for a hobby toy, too rich for me.
50K for defending my family, now we're talking.

Of course that's a harsh simplification:
For force-on-force training (Paladin, etc.)
Airsoft is a good choice for simulating street scenarios,
and gaming out the appropriate responses.

:)

May problema din jan
Anytime it becomes game-like, nawawala na realism
Things you'd be crazy to try in real life pwede mo gawin sa airsoft
So to make it real, dapat nakahubad yung maglalaro :) para may takot din tamaan

Btw, on the defensive aspect there's something I noticed with these airsoft players. Most of them always get hit in the hands area. Baka nga siguro tutoo yung concept about focusing on the threat (gun) and shooting it instead.

There's these group who used to play CQB-like scenarios in a construction bldg near PGH. From what I gathered, mukhang mas maganda yung setup nila compared to the others who play in the open field (warfare type). Imagine my surprise when he related about slicing the pie, tunnel vision, funnel fire (or something I even didn't know), etc. Kala ko mga IDPA players lang nakakaalam nito. ;f

I played GOTCHA! once at their Antipolo field, and it was as realistic to a jungle warfare scenario as it could get: mud, cogon grass, rocks, and jagged root outcrops that stick into your butt when you attempt to sit/duck for cover.

It was a 20 vs 20 man battle. On the first salvo, 7 of my teammates were declared dead by the field inspectors, most hit in the torso and head, as indicated by the pinkish splatter of the plastic orbs used as bullets. These guns only have a 12 meter range I think, accurate to about 5 meters only, but you could get lucky with a 'ballistic' shot over 20 meters.

I could say that my IPSC exposure helped me bag several victims, but skills could only get you so far. By the end of the 15 minute time limit, only 4 of us were left. The later casualties had been hit mostly in the head area, often while they were just peeking at their intended target (Our opponents had higher ground, had 7 left so they won);g .

It was an eye-opener of sorts. Now I know the following:
- that survival in mass fighting is very dependent on luck.
- Bravery could get you killed
- Physical conditioning does matter!
- Numbers do count. As in two is always better than one
- But three stupid men could get suckered and killed easily by one. (I got three this way when they hid at an adjacent barrier, not knowing I was nearby.) It was foul to hit too close, but heck, better them than me.
- You could not avoid feeling so helpless when you see comrades falling one by one
- Death is certain; its only a matter of time. It's how you choose to 'die' that will occupy your mind when the onslaught has begun

A lot of other learnings, but I may bore you to death with them...

i own both. i consider Airsoft as a way to exercise and condition your body. imagine running, hiding, running, while dodging BBs (they really do hurt, .25g at 400-600 FPS) for about 5 hours. i used to own several Airsfot guns, but decided to keep just two for the fun of it. now im planning to concentrate on practical shooting instead. mas magastos nga, but it sure is more satisfying ;) . nevertheless, i still am thankful for the field experience Airsoft has taught me. ;)

got two "markers" a tippmann A-5 and a spider xtra. Talaga namang ng nakaka-excite! It's really a different game compared to IPSC: you're both hunter and hunted.

We played three sets then: Capture the opponent's flag, Defend your flag, and the most exciting is the Free for All where the flag is in the middle of the course and both camps try to acquire it and plant it on the opponent's HQtrs. Speed is the key there, and I haven't got any. ;)

IIRC, the paintballs cost 3 pesos each, and you're given 80 balls for all three sets yata. Basta't mga 500 per person ang damage for the three sets. So for 10 vs 10, that's 10 grand easy, for a 45 min game. That is, if you survive all three. Being hit in the first salvo would be a most devastating experience.

Para kang nagtapon ng 500 pesos, walang kalaban-laban. Kaya nga one-time lang ko dyan. Mauubos ipon ko, hehehe... ;)
