An elderly neighbor asked me tonight if I would help her do some things around the yard, so off I went. When I was done she asked me if I wanted an old gun. Well, that was a stupid question! She goes digging around in the garage and comes back with a small revolver. Its an RG 10 chambered in .22 short. This thing is filthy! Im gonna clean it up and I may run some ammo through it if I think its safe. Just wanted to share.;f

norm,
that little revolver looks to be in great condition. I don't see any rust.
By all means, when you get it cleaned do let us know how it shoots.
Congrats on the great prize!

I just bought one myself off of Gun Broker. It is a Wischo Model 11 in .25acp. I am buying it as a tiny B.U.G. Anybody ever heard of this brand? The seller says it is from Germany and it is in A+ condition. I have even found some extra mags for it since it only hold 5 rounds.

I have shot an RG-10 in .22 short before, you are in for an experience.
It would shoot reliably when thumb cocked but would miss about one or two rounds a cylinder full when fired double action.
The sights were not that good so the grouping was a bit on the shotgun pattern side.
I gave mine away! it was just too much hassle to waste a gun license on.

When I was MUCH younger, I really wanted an RG. They had the one quality I needed in a handgun.

They were cheap.

Never did get one. That tells you how poor I was.

Norm,

That is a "Rohm" pistol if I am not mistaken. I have the RG38 version in .38 cal. Semi-Solid German made pistol. I have put many rounds through mine with no problems. Not a bad catch.

I have a Rohm RG38 and the thing is a brick. Heavy, but it goes bang every time, plus it was next to free so I cant complain. Hope it works out for you.

It's Beautiful! ;f

I wish I were you, there is NOTHING like getting a free gun.

Tell us how it shoots.
