? about P990 barrels

Looking for a Threaded Barrel for my Walther P990 40S&W,
Is there anything I should know first about threaded barrels befor I buy? oh yeah I can't own a sound suppressor its illegal in MN. so I can only get the barrel but it will add a very nice touch to my P990

I'm aware that everyone's taste is different but pragmatically speaking, if you can't own a suppressor, buying a threaded barrel is a waste of money. Besides, when you buy a new barrel from a third party, some minor fitting by a gunsmith is usually required. That is more money for little gain.
