How have hand to hand combatives changed since WW2? Have martial arts influenced military training lately?

Why not vote for a Martial Arts Forum and duke it out with the guys in white pajamas?

When I went through OSUT for infantry we did have rifle bayonet training, I loved it.

"KILL KILL KILL WITH COLD BLUE STEEL"
"BLOOD BLOOD BLOOD MAKES THE GREEN GRASS GROW DRILL SERGEANT!!!"

We also had a day of Ground Fighting Techniques GFT, it was great, but only one day, I wish we would've done more of it, The rifle bayonet training really instills the killer instinct which is good for our troops.
