View Full Version : What's new in my CD player right now?
Kings Of Leon "Aha Shake Heartbreak" it's awesome Southern rock punk stuff
Kaiser Chiefs "Employment" A great British band in the spirit of the Clash or Madness
REM "Automatic for the People" 5.1 remix, I didn't get into it in 1992, I am digging it now
Albert King "Born Under A Bad Sign" Albert King and Booker T and the MG's, no comment needed on this one
Randy Newman "Sail Away"
The Stone Roses first album, It's 1989 all over again for me
Green Day "American Idiot" This one is still blowing me away, I didn't know they had it in them
Pavement "Crooked Rain Crooked Rain" it just stays in the rotation for some reason
Todd Rundgren "Something/Anything" old to most but new to me, I like it
Best of John Prine, I have to listen to "Grandpa was a Carpenter" at least once a day
Wilco "A Ghost is Born" Either you like it or not, me likey

They're one of the most underrated bands today. They have great music, they just don't get enough air play. It's a shame! :(
Musically, I'm all over the place but lately I've been listen to Micheal Penn.

I haven't got a CD in forever. So the newest thing in my car cd player is Nile - In Their Darkened Shrines

I would have to say that it's Green Day's "American Idiot".
I think it is one of the best CD's released this year (or was it last year^8 ).
