I don't, I'm here and I'm admitting it.

I don't like lorcins,

I think there crap guns that aren't worth owning. I wish they didn't exist. Wasn't there a lawsuit against lorcin because 10000 handguns were stolen.

I don't like lorcin, I don't like Saturday night specials either. I think they suck, are crap guns and give pistols a bad name among the press.

We respect your opinion. But the purpose of this forum isn't to promote SNS's for CCW, self defense, etc. Rather, as more information is presented, we hope to provide valuable advice for having a SNS as a collectors item, mainly. Even the junk ones are collectable since most of the makers have gone out of business.
Sorry, if this forum offends you, DOC, but it's here mainly for fun.

Cheers, smiling is easier on the face.

didn't mean to sound harsh. My post was more of a joke than anything, But I don't really like lorcins,I didn't know people collected SNS's for anything other than crime, it just seems strange to me to own a pistol with no tactical, sport shooting, target shooting, hunting or plinking value, didn't mean to offend anyone...

Hey, every well rounded collection will have guns of all types. I've got junk guns and I've got ivory gripped, gold inlaid, and engraved custom guns. Why limit yourself to mere "usefulness"?

You left out self-defense for poor people. Guns are EXPENSIVE. There are lots of good people who simply cannot afford to put down three or four hundred dollars for a pistol. Some of the so-called Saturday night specials are actually just affordable "shoot little carry a lot" pistols that are valuable for self-defense. There need to be "cheap" pistols so poor people can also exercise 2nd amendment rights.

Mouse guns can also be fun for target practice, if you want to challenge and fine-tune your marksmanship abilites. Try shooting a subcompact .22 and then go to a full size. You will have a definite edge when shooting the larger weapon. This is just my own opinion, however.

A pot metal .22 short is IMO no better than a super fancy 1911.

Why?

Becuase neither want to be shot.

I own what some people may call a SNS, and I also own a $600 gun. I like both. Not all SNS are necessarily "junk". In fact, I wouldnt mind owning a Raven and an H&R revolver .22 revolver. The Raven isnt cheap to shoot, and the H&R may not be the highest quality (although many people compare the 999 top break revolver to the highest quality target revolvers), but both have a place in a gun collection.

The more SNS's that are in the hands of collecters the less are in the hands of criminals.

The more SNS in the hands of responsible citizens who could not otherwise afford better handguns, the more people will become aware that their right to own firearms does not cost much.:)
