I was wondering if they got 50 votes.;f
I have a Berretta Vertec 92FS. The pistol fits me very well and it is the most accurate pistol that I have shot. I had trouble with the 10 round mags, but other than that, it has been flawless.

I hope a few more people start posting here...I can't imagine that with the amount of subscribers Glocktalk has only a few of us own Berettas.
Where is everyone?!

Woohoo. I See they finally created this area :)
I have 2 Berettas - a standard black 92FS and a new stainless Vertec. Berettas are my fav 9mm handguns. I can shoot my black 92FS as well as a 1911. :)

Now I have a place to discuss two of my favorite pistols - Glock and Beretta. I purchased my first Beretta just a few weeks ago. It's a 9mm Custom Carry II in stainless. It really is the nicest looking pistol I have. I also have a Glock 23 which I love for function and ease of carry, but this Beretta has it all - shoots and looks great!

Have owned a few Model 92's in my time. Seem to be able to buy 'em used in nice shape for a good price, shoot them a while, then get good value in a trade-off later.
My current one has the dovetailed front and rear sights. (Bought a set of tritiums from CDNN on the cheap, had the local 'smith put them on.) Dang, might just end up keeping this one. Works great for IDPA, the Speed Steel match, and I can even manage to CCW the thing, although it's "pushing the envelope" sizewise.
One thing I've learned is to avoid buying magazines with weak springs, which for me means buying in person rather than ordering them. Seems to be a common complaint, even our military has bought some lousy aftermarket mags for the M-9!
Hope to see more folks chiming in about their Berettas, 92s and otherwise.
Finally! ;f
Thank you to Eric and everyone who voted to have a forum to talk about our other favorite pistol.
Anyway, I have been a proud Beretta 92FS Brigadier owner for the past six years. It shoots like a dream and reliability is second to none. Working the slide feels like glass sliding on glass. Here is the photo and the list of aftermarket parts:

Don't use a Glock as it's engineered with a bore axis that sets low in the hand. That's a smart thing, certainly, but if you have hands as big as mine sometimes the Glock slide slices the web of your hand in recoil. Soooooo...I bought a Beretta for on-duty use and often carry it off-duty as well. It may not be at its best for military work in the sandbox overseas...but it's a durable and superbly accurate tool for my needs.
Alot prettier than a Glock.;f

Glad to see the club is here! I am tired of searching the Non-Glock Firearms section for other Beretta users.

Yup, lots of great info there too. Though they weren't collectively excited about having a Beretta section here at GlockTalk. It seems that a number of posters there were banned in GT.
Glad to see that the Beretta club made it. I only have one Beretta at this time. It is a model 3032 Tomcat. I have always liked the tip up barrel idea. My wife and daughter both like it because they have trouble with the slides on most semi-autos. I'll post pics later.

Hey everyone!
It's nice to see a Beretta Club here!
I thought that I'd only be posting on the Steyr Club, but now have another place to "hang" here on GT.

The Custom Carry II is beautiful! Where can I find one? It would go well with my 92FS and Tomcat .32?

oldrazorback,
Thanks for the kind words regarding my CCII. I purchased it at a local shop. He had a second one in blue at the time. Contact information:
Austintown Sports Center Inc

Youngstown, OH 44515-2418
Phone: (330) 792-1313
I'm sure he'd be happy to ship to an FFL if he still has one.

Glad to see this up and running, also. My only Beretta possession at present is a new CX-4 Storm carbine in .45acp. It is a good-looking, great-shooting, little beauty.
The 92FS has always been a firearm I have thought good-looking and maybe one day.....;a

Will Glock Talk be renamed Gun Talk anytime soon?
With all of the Non-Glock clubs on this site it is just a thought that has crossed my mind...
