I have 4 G17 NFML mags that are unlike any of the other hundreds that I've seen. They have:
Gold Anodized Metal Linings (as opposed to silver or black)
More pronounced "shelf" at the bottom-rear of the mag body
All have the very old followers and 1 piece bases, but 2 of them have 1 piece bases without the GLOCK logo on them. These are not aftermarket. I got them in a deal with some 1st Gen G17s.
Anybody know the particulars on these and why they are different?
Yes, I've got and seen even more early G17 NFMLs, but again these are unique.
