Mags

I only got one mag with the 84FS I bought so at the last gun show I bought two more for $15 each. They look like the original but neither one allows the trigger to reset. They both have the little notch on the right side to catch the trigger spring, but no reset. Threw the receipt away so there's little chance of a return\exchange.

Anyone have any thoughts on whether I can salvage these mags, or do I just toss them and chalk it up to experience? Next time I go mag shopping I'll take the 84 with me to make sure they work.

What markings do the mags have? Are they stamped "PB Made in Italy" along the side of the tube or on the front is there an "ITALY" stamp?

If not, they may not be Beretta Factory mags. I personally stick with Beretta Factory (Or MDS - their subsidiary) or Mec-Gar.

I don't remember the markings, if any, but I did look and didn't see the PB marking.
