Anyone have a 8045 Cougar? How does it compare to a P220? Do you have any pics?
Thanks,
Don
The cougar is a fantastic gun! I like it every bit as my full size 92:) I have a 8000F Inox btw..

i have shot the 8045 several times.
i really like it,soft shooter,accurate and 100% reliable.
Good design.
this was a beat up range rental.
like all berettas a little thick in the butt, but if i seen a good price on a used one, i pick it up.
I've recently shot the 9mm, the .40, and the .45, and wow, what a sweet shooting set of guns. I'm seriously considering getting one, and if I could decide between the .40 and the .45, I'd plunk the money down immediately. The rotating barrel really makes follow up shots nice and easy!
right now my daily CCW is an 8045 and i absolutely love it. accurate, comfortable, and all around great gun. not sure what else i can say about it.

Thanks for the info. I'm tempted. I had a P245, but the grip was a tad too short. The P220 is too big. Maybe the 8045 will be just right for GoldieDon.;P I have a P229.40 and Vertec9mm for now.;f
I use a Galco SCT224

didn't get it from there that's just the best picture of it i could find. at my local shop i think i paid around $25/$30 somewhere in that range.
GL with your choice.
Aside from the grip being a hair on the wide side for me, I loved it.
Never so much as a hiccup in over a thousand rounds. More accurate
than me and a pleasure to shoot.
Why I sold it, I find myself asking that question more and more!:(
