Maryland Forum

I'd like to see a forum for those of us from Maryland. Maybe call it the 'Old Line Club'. With all the legislation and such going on in Maryland, it would be nice to have a place to discuss current events. Any takers?

I think it would be a nice thing to have a MD site! MD is such a anti gun state that I think any support would help and being attention to a state that needs to rethink about it gun laws.

Hey, I'd go for a MD forum, especially if all four of us could show up at once at the MSAR and insist they buy some light bulbs for the range!

Great idea. Although I have lived here 3+ years, I've only gotten back into shooting recently, and agree that Maryland shooters need all the support they can get.

Add my vote. I'm a Va. resident. But my family has a cottage in St. Mary's county that I visit often. I'd like to see shall issue passed up there and the state to become more gun friendly.

I miss MD. Hell, I live in SC and can only buy whatever I want, whenever I want. Then they even let me have a CWP. I'm sooo lonely.:cool:

I also wish MD would be more gun friendly. Isn't MD the only state left that requires ILS? Its also one of the minority of states that still aren't shall issue.

My brother just moved to PA and is soooo happy just how easy it is to carry !!
I think NRA said that there is 39-41 states that are a "carry state", makes ya wonder where we are getting our chance.

well, our ten year old wrote to Gov. Ehrlich telling him that MD should be shall issue :supergrin: He got a reply, but it was just a form letter :sad:

Not sure if MA or CA require. We may be the only ones who still require the shell casing for imaging, I think NY was leaning towards ditching that.

Awhile ago someone posted all the states that had a easy carry law and the crime stats before and after the law passed. A lot of would be criminals WILL think twice before doing something to another person if they thought they had a gun also.
