I was reading the P99 FAQ again and noticed a section I hadn't read before. http://www.praxagora.com/lunde/WaltherP99FAQ/X/1.html. Personally, I've used nothing but 115 grain FMJ ammo so far and haven't had any FTE. Has anyone here?

the link doesn't work:
" The page cannot be found
The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable."
and i haven't had any problems either. WWB 115gr FMJ worked great for me & my P99...

I was told the same thing when I had some FTEs in the first couple of hundred rounds with my Sig P228. I switched to 124 gr and had no problems. Personally, I think it was the fact that I was using Remington UMC 115 gr that caused the problem. The P228 was my first 9mm -- since then I've broken in all my guns with WWB 115 gr from WallyWorld. I haven't had a single failure in over 5000 rds.

I had LOTS of failures with PMC 115gr FMJ ammo, especially when the gun was breaking in. I've never had a problem with WWB 115gr.
