I could use some help. I'm planning on acquiring a Kahr (not sure which one yet) for summer carry, hopefully in a "tuckable" holster. Would you folks please share your opinions on any tuckable holsters that you have experience with?

Thanks!

I have used a GALCO tuckable and it worked great but I am old fashioned and like my IWB( Milt Sparks Summer Special) & OWB. I use a Fist #8 owb and its great but check them both out.

Out of all the "tuckable" holsters I've tried I'll take the FIST thank you very much! ^c

Alot of people must like the fist, I ordered one the end of march and haven't recieved it. They said it would take up to 3 weeks so I should have it soon. Lots of people recommend them on other fourms as well. Should work well with my P9 and PM9!;f

I use the Comp-Tac CTAC. It conceals really well and is comfortable. I like having the two clips seperate from the holster. It seems to be more stable and thinner than holsters having just one clip on the holster itself.

Another vote for High Noon Holsters (http://www.highnoonholsters.com/Product_Line/product_line.html) here. I carry my Sig220ST in one of their tuckable "Hidden Ally" holsters and am very pleased with it.

While there are a number of quality tuckables for sale I have yet to see one where the clip didn't stick out like a sore thumb or was not very secure. The secure ones (like High Noon's Hidden Ally) have a HUGE metal clip that is too obvious. The ones that do hide well are usually the J clip style which in my experience aren't very secure. The bottom of the clip keeps coming loose from the belt.

The closet I ever came to being satisfied with tuckable was a black High Noon Hidden Ally worn with a black belt and black jeans and I still thought it was too obvious.

I use a belly band for situations where I have to tuck. Many people say they are uncomfortable but at least for me its works great.

I have carried a P-9 almost every day (Glock on weekends) for the past year or so. My first choice was a Fist IWB tuckable. It worked great and I still use it with certain clothes.

I did switch after a month to the Comp Tac c-tac with the c-clips. This holster felt much more secure and stable to draw from. I wear a shirt and tie usually and it conceals better than the Fist in my opinion as I sometimes get some rotation in the fist holster that lets the grip print when not wanted.

In fact I ended up getting an extra c-tac for a gift for my p-9 that I haven't even opened in case someone is interested in it please let me know.

Be safe.
