Hit the range with the new Beretta yesterday. Camera malfunctioned or I'd have taken pics.

After 10,000 rounds of Glock, the DA first shot still messed me up a bit, but I hit the target at least. SA was easy enough and I put them all where they were supposed to go. I did a bunch of fire/decock/fire/decock to practice on the first shot and got a little better, just un-used to having a DA/SA gun again.

After putting thousands of rounds in 10-round mags through my G30, it took a bit of getting used to remembering I had five more rounds.. I'd pause for a secone expecting a slide lock and "nope...keep shooting" would run through my head.

Pilotkitten put 30 rounds into a spot the size of a paper plate on the vitals of the silhouette rapid fire. The long DA first shot gave her a little trouble but the rest were okay.

I shot my 92FS the other day as well. Been over a year since I had it out. I normally shoot a P-220 since that is my duty carry gun. But I took the Beretta out to shoot it, and man I forgot how much fun that is to shoot. Put 300rds through it in no time. Still as accurate as ever. I've had mine for going on 15yrs now. I love my P-220, but man the 92FS fits like a glove.

Shooting a Beretta is a completely different experience than a Glock.
Enjoy,
Bruce

P.S. Pick up a Crimson Trace laser grip. Take your time and shop on ebay for an good price, and really have some fun.

I don't need the lasergrip.

I play with them at work, and I've been shot with a gun using one in a FOF exercise with a paint round, so yes, I know they really work.

But I dont' need one yet.
