Just picked my CW9 today. Hopefully I'll get to the range in the next day or two. I was just wondering if anyone else has tried it and what they thought about it. Fit and finish looks like a typical Kahr, at least to me (I've only had a PM9 to compare it to).

Looks like I'm the first one to report. The only other Kahr I've had was the PM9, and the CW9 has the same smooth DAO trigger, of course. The CW9 has a full grip, at least for me. I was expecting a smaller grip height by the way Kahr lists the grip height at 4.5", and with similar grip heights on other guns I can only get 2 fingers on the grip. This is not the case with the CW9, which improves shooting accuracy. It shoots POA is POI at 7yds, the only distance I tried.
The grip is a little thinner than I like, or am comfortable with, but I'll try a Hogue Handall Jr, which should improve the grip width. So far a total of 150rnds and the only FTF I had was with a Federal HST JHP, which has a rather wide "mouth", compared to other JHPs I've tried. But the CW9 handled the Win Ranger and Federal EFMJ just fine. I'll use only EFMJ with this small gun, just to insure reliable feeding.
Looks like a good summer CCW gun, if I can improve the comfort of the grip width. But that's just me, I tend to like the double stack feel better;f
I have Kahr P40 and a PM9. Can you list some differences between the P9 and the CW9?

The difference between the CW9 and the P9 are as follows:
1) conventional rifling rather than polygonal rifling in the barrel
2) some MIM parts, including a MIM slide stop
3) not as much machining on the slide
4) no roll mark, just laser engraved instead
5) shipped with one mag instead of two
6) can't be ordered with night sights
7) front sight is pinned rather than dovetailed in
The conventional rifling means you're not going to get quite as much velocity out of it.
On the sample I tried, the accuracy was scary good and the trigger was excellent.

That's the best info I can find, outside of the Kahr website.
That's what I was looking for... Thanks!

Just an FYI, #7 should read like this: Front sight is pinned rather than dovetailed in & is made of plastic instead of metal.

The CW9 and E9 have a plastic front sight and they do break. Ask Backdraft he broke his off reholstering and just had a dovetail cut put on his.
