I hear the glock 18 mags will work... how about the glock 17 mags?

Yes and yes. From what I understand, all 9mm Glock magazines are interchangable. Of course, the larger capacity the magazine the more it will protrude out the bottom of the gun. :-)

Just to clarify that, the smaller grip framed guns can use the larger gripped framed gun's magazines, but not the other way around.
So G26 can use G19, G17, G18 mags.
G19 can use G17, G18 mags, but not the G26 mag.
G17 and G18 are the same frame size and can use either the G17 or G18 mags, but not the G19 or G26 mags.

Awesome... I got 5 glock 18 33rd mags for my 19 on the way. I'm thinking that this should be enough and I shouldn't need anymore mags.

Worked like a charm...As a matter of fact, I popped off 33rds from the G18 mag thru my G19 today - really, really fast.
That was fun. :)
You'll like it, problem is, boxes of ammo will go by real quick.

G19 with G18 Mag -
That's my usual nighttime setup. And if I don't get them with all those rounds, I can still grab the mag and use the G19 like a hammer...;f

I have a Glock 19. I have 4 G19 mags, and 4 G17 mags, and one G18 mag. They all work fine in my pistol.
My wife has a G26, all of my mags work fine in her gun, too. She has two G26 mags (with +2 extensions).
I am interested in one more 33 round G18 mag for her gun for when we are on the road.
Any Glock magazine in the same caliber will work in another Glock, provided your Glock is smaller than the length of the magazine you want to use.
