Hey all

Just wanted to say I took the VE Tech test today at the Ham Expo in Belton, TX. I passed (unk score... but i think I missed about 4) and got the CSCE saying I passed the Tech. ;Y

Now just waiting for ULS to update and I will put my new-to-me 2100H and IC V8 on the air... Thanks Mike ;?

Welcome. Passing the Tech License Exam is a pretty good feeling.

I too have an IC-2100H as my 2M mobile rig and an IC-V8 as my
hand-held. They are both easy to use, and very capable. The plug in PRYME microphone/speaker is a very worthwile addition to your V8. It's $20 you won't regret spending on your new hobby.
