Has anyone had a problem with the 5" barrel on their p22 coing loose?

I was going to pick up a lightly used P22 yesterday, but the front assembly (not really a weight, not really a comp) was loose. I tighted the set screws, no help. Then I noticed the barrel was loose, not the assembly. So, I tore the whole gun down (man, that salesguy loved me) and tightened the barrel.

By the time I reassembled the gun, the barrel was loose again.

I ended up paying $50 more for a NIB gun.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is this something I should be expecting in the new gun? Do I hope for the best or just get the Loctite out now?

Any $.02 worth of input would be greatly appreciated.

This is apparently a common issue with the P22's that have removable barrels. Take a look at the following site for lots more on this and more on the P22. I'd also go to Rimfire Central's Walther forum.
