View Full Version : Looking for a way to put clickable thumbnails and text on a website
I'm looking for a way to put clickable thumbnails and text on a website. I have an Ipower website www.stlouiscats.com . I'm using their software to create the site. Unfortunately their software is limited in that every page has to be accessed from the main page. There is noway to do subpages under the main page. I was thinking if I had some way to make the pages in another software program I could then copy the pages onto Ipower web and link to them.
So what's the hot setup for this?
Do you have FTP access to the site?
if so, you can take complete control and build whatever you like.
Yes, I have FTP access. I'm just looking for some freebie tool to help me handle the webpage.
there's a list of a whole bunch of them, "WYSIWIG" stands for "what you see is what you get" which is probably what you are looking for.
edited to add: http://www.w3.org/Amaya/Amaya.html is one i've heard of.
I just code the thumbnails as buttons, then those buttons link to the pic on another page.
Very simple once you figure out its implementation.
