BG357, I think he's making fun of the useage of "clips" instead of the proper term of "magazines". Clips refer more to the type used by SKS and other firearms with quickload box magazines.

This may very well be the same joker who was trying to sell a "limited edition" 1006 for $1500 in California a couple years ago. I emailed him asking what made it a limited edition and his response was that it was out of production so that made it a limited edition. He then went on to pontificate about the 10mm cartridge of which he obviously knew very little about. He also tried to tell me that the Bren Ten was a prototype because it was the first 10mm. I sent him some "corrective" information and also suggested he drop his price a bit if he wanted to actually sell it indicating that you could probably buy three 1006s for the price he was asking. At that point he went absolutely bonkers, telling me he was in law enforcement and that I was breaking the law by posing as a buyer when I had no intention of buying the gun and that he "busted punks like me" all the time. I did a bit of investigating and found out that he was a probationary fish & game officer in California. The guy was a total nutcase. I can't be certain this is the same guy, but it all sounds suspiciously familiar.

Hope you've got a Crown Royal bag full of Crown Royal, for Sarah's arrival. Hope she shows up before 6-4, as that's when I leave on a 2 week wacking trip out west, won't be near a computer, or civilization for that matter. We will be so far out that I'm packing a couple of bottles of C.R. for the trip. Might not be able to get it out in the sticks ! I'd really hate to miss the arrival & have to postpone the 10 Ring celebration !
