I have an animated .gif that I would like to resize down to 100x100 pixels for my avatar. I can resize it with Irfanview 3.95 but it will not keep its animation running. How can I fix this?

from the irfanview help files:
"Note: IrfanView can't save animated GIFs."
that stinks, i had no idea. :(
see if this website can do it

GifWorks.com will probably do the trick. I've done a couple avatars on there, including my own. Just remember the filesize can't be over 6000 bytes.

wow. heh. with over 250 frames in the animation, quality will disappear if it's reduced to a 6k filesize.
here it is, reduced to 60k filesize http://img104.echo.cx/img104/7979/thatgif11lu.gif

Good point. You can remove some of the scenes...

Still too large if I remove the fight scenes except for the first punch and the light saber. Remove much else and you lose the joke. Sorry.
