I'm working on designing a webpage right now, and one of the things I've included is some simple javascript code that does a little fading image slideshow.

After doing this and opening the page up, I see that with SP2, IE pops up the information bar stating that it is blocking some scripting. Is there anything I can do to get this fading slideshow to work so that the person viewing the webpage doesn't have to first actually notice the information bar and then choose to allow the script to run?

Yes, do not use javascript. I am serious. There are a whole lot of people who, due to security concerns, block all scripting (javascript, activeX, etc) entirely.

Use php or backend java or some server side way of doing it.

Thanks for the help.

I am not familiar with php but hopefully there is a simple way to do this with it.
