Rigging a purse with a holster?

I've posted NUMEROUS threads in here about getting my gf a carry settup. Well I'm happy to report that I have found her a G19 and am just struggling with the whole purse issue.

We planned on getting a brown mini-hobo from Coronado, however, I am not 100% convinced of her intent.

She says she will carry her purse more often (all the time) when it's got a gun in it, but for example, right now, when we go into Wal*Mart she carries her wallet, which I usually just put in my pocket anyways. The purse stays in the car.

I'm trying to envision her carrying a purse, twice the size of the one she has now, and twice as heavy more often than the one she currently has and doesn't carry.

I'm just not seeing it, and I'm not about to waste close to $200 on a purse that will guard the car most of the time.

What I think would be more practical for her is to rig a normal purse with a good holster settup.

Any ideas or reccommendations? Please no flames or "If she's serious she'll alter her habits" stuff. ;)

I'm just looking for purse "rigging" ideas that work.

Get her the purse from Coronado...I know they're not cheap, but the quality is worth it. Second, keep after her to do on-body carry. If she's a shopper at heart, tell her she gets to go shop for a whole new wardrobe! That ought to get her going!;)

I have a Coronado purse. It doesn't get a lot of use, as I normally carry on-body IWB, however, there are times when on-body won't work for me, so out comes the Coronado.
