Problem today with AVG update?

I can't seem to get the latest update today. Anyone else having this problem?

Nope. Just searched for updates and completed the download successfully.

Thanks for the Majorgeeks link, that method worked. Still cant update via AVG control center/search for updates. I keep getting "connection closed message", followed by several attempts to connect, then "update was interrupted"

I had the same problem with my laptop. Have not changed my firewall settings or anything.

I'll see if the scheduled auto update works late tonight.

The automatic update is not working for me either. Tried it from majorgeeks website, doesn't work either

Ok went to the AVG site (grisoft.com) and downloaded the update to the avg install folder. Then I updated (you will have to uncheck, do not ask for location button)from the file. It seems to connect to check for updates ok now. Hop this helps you all out ;)

Yep! Check for updates is now working, thanks to all.

yeah this also happened to me. It was about two days then it started working again.

i did it again today and had no problems.
