Here's my Festiva

Any chance to show off my ride I'll take it.

I have a 68 mustang coupe but my fast car is my Festiva. Yes you read that correct a Festiva. This past winter I built an Escort GT powered Ford Festiva. I went from 63HP to 140HP, upgraded struts, lowering springs, brake upgrade and a complete overhaul including paint. Here is a few pics of it:

Not times yet. I'm planning a trip to the strip this Friday weather permiting. I'm hoping for mid 14's. A guy on the ford festiva forum ( festiva forum (http://www.fordfestiva.com/forum/index.php) )

The installation looks factory. I don't know much about Fords but I guess it was a pain to get all the sensors on-line. Great job on a cool car.

Actually it was pretty easy to wire. The festiva is mazda powered as well as the escort gt. The ecu's swap directly and I just needed to run 2 new wires from the engine to the ecu. I had to cut off a few festiva plugs and splice on the escort gt plugs.

That's pretty sweet. I'm pretty sure it's a big kick in the pants going from 63 to 140 hp. Install I agree is very very clean. Awesome job.
