window picture and fax

i use a cf reader to download my pics into windows picture and fax viewer. i like this best as they are where i want them to be and i can open them in whatever program i want at a later date. what i dont like is having to name the file before i can download. is there a way i can just use the numbering system the camera gives to the pic? i cant seem to find a way.

I'm surprised no one else has chimed in. I just open up my the files directly from the CF with My Computer then transfer them to a folder on the harddrive. Whatever the camera names them is what remains.
