I had a local guy do a trigger job on my 92G for me. He polished things up, replaced the springs, etc. He got the DA pull down from about 12 lbs to about 8 and the SA is hanging around 4. What an incredible difference! I've only dry fired it so far, but it's like night and day different. I'll be using it for my USPSA class tomorrow night...we'll see if the firing performance meets the improved feel and comfort.
I think my CZ is going to get the same treatment next!

Try a 16# 1911 competition hammer spring (grind the ends down smooth) it your Beretta with every thing polished up if you want it a little lighter. You will love it. The guy I work with did it first to a E1 and then my E2. The double is little under 7 and single just 3. Of course I use this in uspsa some may not want to carry lighter. You can put 17# hammer spring in to bumps it up to about 8 and 3.5. I was real impressed with the lighter pull on the Beretta's.

He used a 16# 1911 -- it was a little too light. I had too many FTF on the DA pull. He replaced it with a 17# spring and it seems to handle everything fine (we tested it on S&B, NATO Headstamp and a few other "hard" primer types of ammo).
This is going to be my gun for USPSA. I don't plan on using it for carry -- so the lighter trigger is good!

Next match I am going to check the trigger to see what it is now. Do you run a 11# recoil spring too. A couple of my uspsa friends and me use them in our Beretta's, I like the feel better more like my SV. I also cut 2 coils off the mag release spring for easier reloads and unloads, my friend cut off 3. Both have worked fine, but I carry it some so I left it at 2. I use a solid steel guide rod also.
Im looking at which EAA to get and try it in production. The new Stock and Stock Custom look good.

Paid Mr. Langdon to do his level II trigger job on my 96G Elite. Also a short trigger while he was at it. It's like it was "born again". What a difference!
I did the same on one of my beretta, I installed a 92D hammer springs, installed a skeletonize hammer, polished the hammer and sear contacts
All of this helped to make a good gun even better. It's 100% reliable with all ammo as far as firing and the trigger pull is nice and smooth like.

I think I'll call and order a D spring from BUSA tomorrow and replace the 19# 1911 that was installed.

Sweetest Beretta I have ever shot..
